Pendidikan Olahraga untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Akademik Siswa: Kajian Interdisipliner
Abstrak
Pendidikan olahraga memiliki peran yang penting dalam membentuk kemampuan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional siswa. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pendidikan olahraga dan peningkatan prestasi akademik siswa melalui pendekatan interdisipliner. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada pedoman Kitchenham & Charters (2007) serta panduan PRISMA 2020. Sebanyak 20 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang terbit antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025 dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola hubungan antara aktivitas fisik, fungsi kognitif, motivasi belajar, dan hasil akademik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan olahraga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan prestasi akademik melalui tiga mekanisme utama, yaitu: peningkatan fungsi kognitif melalui aktivitas jasmani, penguatan motivasi dan regulasi diri, serta penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran interdisipliner yang mengintegrasikan aspek fisik dan akademik. Kajian ini juga menemukan bahwa pendidikan jasmani berperan dalam menumbuhkan nilai sosial dan karakter yang mendukung keberhasilan akademik siswa. Dengan demikian, pendidikan olahraga tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana pengembangan fisik, tetapi juga sebagai medium pembelajaran holistik yang memperkuat kecerdasan kinestetik, kognitif, dan emosional siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi pengembangan kurikulum dan kebijakan pendidikan yang berorientasi pada integrasi antara kebugaran jasmani dan prestasi akademik.
