PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI EDUKASI KESEHATAN PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI DESA DANGURAN KLATEN SELATAN

Indonesia is one of the many countries affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout 2021 Indonesia experienced various dynamics and challenges in handling the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 cases in Indonesia are still high due to several reasons. Based on the results of observations, it is known that the people in Danguran Klaten Selatan Village still lack understanding and awareness of preventing Covid-19. So it is necessary to carry out community service activities in this region. Community service in Danguran Klaten Selatan Village is carried out by providing health education to prevent Covid-19. This activity aims to prevent the transmission and expansion of Covid-19. The method of implementing community service is carried out through health education both directly, online, and through posters, as well as distributing herbs and vitamins to the community in Danguran Klaten Selatan Village. The result of this activity is that the people in Danguran Klaten Selatan Village gain knowledge and understanding about Covid-19 and the latest variant of Covid-19, how to use double (double) masks properly, the Covid-19 vaccine, increasing immunity through consuming herbs and vitamins, how to maintain proper distance, as well as clean and healthy living habits
